# Your website gets visits, but enquiries are not coming

When a website receives visits but few enquiries, first distinguish who arrives, what they find and where the journey stops. Changing the design or buying more traffic without reviewing these three things can leave the same problem unresolved.

## Are the people arriving able to hire you?

Start with the source and purpose of visits. Reading an article, searching for the company name and clicking an advert to request a quotation do not express the same need.

For campaigns, review the queries triggering adverts and the areas the offer serves. For organic traffic, look at which pages appear and which searches show them. Visit numbers alone cannot tell you what needs redesigning.

## Is it clear what you sell and who it is for?

Someone should be able to explain your offer after reading the page opening. Internal terminology, a list of techniques or a headline that could belong to any business makes this harder.

Check whether the content explains the situation you address, what the commission can cover and the next step. A new animation cannot provide missing answers.

- The need the service addresses.
- The type of business or project it suits.
- What is needed to prepare a proposal.
- What happens after someone provides contact details.

### Do I need more visits to receive more enquiries?

Only if current visits fit the offer and the journey already works. Increasing volume does not clarify a problem with unrelated visitors or a failing contact route.

## Is there enough information to make a decision?

Identify questions that arise before hiring. Scope, process, responsibilities and real samples help someone assess a proposal without asking for everything by email.

Without a case study for a service yet, explain precisely how the work is approached and what is delivered. Figures, reviews and examples need support. Clear contact details and company identity also contribute to trust.

## Can someone actually get in touch on mobile?

Follow the page as a first time visitor. Open the contact route, review fields, check the confirmation message and confirm with the team that an enquiry reaches its intended destination.

Distinguish a functional fault from uncertainty about the offer. A hidden button or broken form needs a different correction from a proposal that does not answer the search.

Four observations and the next useful review

| Observation | Possible explanation | What to review next |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Unrelated visits | Traffic does not match the offer. | Queries, adverts, areas and arrival pages. |
| Reading without progress | Information needed to decide is missing. | Message, scope and questions before contact. |
| Attempts without submissions | The journey may contain friction. | Form, mobile use and message delivery. |
| Enquiries without opportunity | Expectations or handling do not fit. | Enquiry quality and the sales response. |

### Do I need to rebuild the whole website?

That cannot be decided from enquiry numbers alone. A review may identify specific message, structure, form or campaign changes. A full redesign makes sense when the base limits what the business needs.

## What are you counting as a result?

A contact click, a submitted form and a client contract are different steps. Understand what each tool records before comparing periods or campaigns.

With little activity, a few days may not be enough to evaluate a change. Record what changed alongside the offer, investment and response capacity. Review analytics permissions before treating data as complete.

## What should change first?

Prioritise faults preventing contact and mismatches between the search and offer. Then organise missing content and design improvements that make it easier to understand.

At crida studio we can review web, brand, SEO and paid search in the same conversation. The commission can focus on the part needing work, with agreed responsibilities and review criteria.

### How can I tell what has improved?

Define the change, action to observe and period that supports a contextual comparison. Relate enquiries to their quality and subsequent handling as well as visits and clicks.
