What it does

Ona lives on the crida.studio website. Visitors can talk to it in writing or by voice, in Catalan, Spanish, English, French or German, and explain what they need.

Ona asks one question at a time and fills in a brief in seven steps, from the goal of the project and the business context to the challenge, the audience, the timing, the indicative budget, the website and the initial direction.

How it fits the contact flow

Before anything is sent, the visitor sees the whole brief and can correct it. Ona does not ask for a name, email or phone number until the visitor decides to send it.

When it is sent, it goes through a Cloudflare security check, the brief is recorded and it reaches the crida team by email. It is one more way to get in touch, alongside the form, email, phone and WhatsApp.

How does Ona work under the hood?

crida studio built Ona for its own website. It uses a language model, a type of AI that understands and writes text, to follow the conversation and put each answer in the right place in the brief.

Voice is only used while the microphone is on, and it is not saved as an audio file. The text of the conversation is used during the session. If the visitor leaves feedback, the conversation can be kept for up to 180 days.

Ona has its own privacy notice. It explains who is responsible for the data, what happens to voice and text, and where to file a complaint.

What is measured

Google Analytics receives the key moments of each conversation, when Ona opens, when a brief starts, when contact details are requested and when it is sent. It only receives them if the visitor has accepted analytics cookies.
