Organise the range before commissioning images
A range needs common criteria for cameras, scale, lighting and backgrounds. When every item is handled differently, comparison becomes harder and new additions start from scratch.
We define what each image needs to explain. The main view might show the whole item, while a detail needs to clarify a finish, joint or function that the description cannot explain alone.
What changes between a product and its variants
We review whether items share geometry and what genuinely differs between them. A colour change does not involve the same work as changing dimensions, parts or materials with a different visual behaviour.
Organise the references and combinations you will sell. Variants should not be produced and then presented in the catalogue as available options without confirmation from the business.
- Product families and references needing representation.
- Changes in dimensions, parts, materials and finishes.
- Overall views and necessary details.
- Common background, framing and proportion criteria.
Must the product already be manufactured to create a render?
Work can begin earlier when there is enough information to represent it. Approved details and proposals need identifying, with the result reviewed before it is used for sales.
What information supports an accurate representation
We can review models, plans, dimensions, photographs and finish samples. Available information determines what preparation or modelling production needs.
The representation should be checked against the product being offered. An approximation can be useful during development, but an image used for sales needs its characteristics validated by the responsible team.
One base with deliveries for different uses
Product pages, printed catalogues and campaigns need different proportions and spaces. We agree compositions and resolution for each use before final finishing.
| Use | What the image needs | What to agree |
|---|---|---|
| Product page | Identify the item and its details. | Proportion, background and view sequence. |
| Catalogue | Keep families visually consistent. | Visual scale, layout and resolution. |
| Campaign | Support a composition with a message. | Framing and space for adaptations. |
Does a render always replace product photography?
No. The choice depends on the product, available samples, materials and image use. We can assess which images suit 3D work and which need photography or another reference.
Review form and finish separately
Geometry and cameras are reviewed first. Materials, colour and lighting are then checked against the agreed references.
The quotation explains how the first item is approved and how the criteria extend to the rest of the family. It should also anticipate what happens if the product changes during production.
Connect 3D work with the brand and website
As an integrated studio we can coordinate visualisation with identity, copy and the catalogue or online shop experience. Images need to fit the names, variants and information a buyer will encounter.
We work from Girona and organise reviews with businesses throughout Spain. To prepare a proposal we need to understand the range, existing materials and the first date when the images will be used.
Are models and working files included?
Final images and working files are separate deliverables. The proposal specifies formats, uses, reviews and whether source files or the model are included.
