A website shaped around the business
Before deciding how a website will look, we need to understand what the business offers, who it is for and what a person should be able to do when they arrive. A rural accommodation website, a B2B offer and a campaign call for different journeys.
At crida studio, we work from Girona on local and international projects. We bring strategy, brand, content, UX/UI and development into the same conversation. The scope is defined around the needs of each project.
According to Spain’s statistics office (INE), 82.9% of businesses with 10 or more employees and internet access had a website in the first quarter of 2026, compared with 36.2% of those with fewer than 10.
- What a person needs to understand before taking action.
- Which action should feel straightforward, and which doubts might get in the way.
- What content, systems and integrations are already in place.
Can you work with an existing brand or website?
We can start from an existing identity, content or website. First, we need to review what can be kept, what limits the objective and which part of the project needs to change.
What the web project can include
The work may include content architecture, screen design, visual components, WordPress or bespoke development, and integration with the tools the business needs. Every website does not need the same combination.
Mobile use, accessibility and resource loading are considered during the project. The aim is for visual direction and everyday use to support each other, including when the screen size changes.
Google’s Web Vitals guidance, updated in 2024, treats a page as good when its main content appears within 2.5 seconds, it responds within 200 milliseconds and its elements barely move while loading (a CLS of 0.1 or less).
If the website sells to consumers, Spain’s Law 11/2023 has required accessibility for e-commerce services since 28 June 2025, except for microenterprises with fewer than 10 staff and up to €2 million in turnover or balance sheet.
- Structure and content that help people find their way.
- Interface design and user journeys.
- Development, responsive layouts and testing of the agreed functions.
- Integrations and launch work defined in the proposal.
WordPress or bespoke development?
It depends on the functions, content editing and technical context. WordPress also supports custom components. Using it does not mean every website has to look or work the same way.
Can the project include SEO work?
It can include the structure, content and technical foundation that allow pages to be found and understood. Query research, content production and ongoing monitoring need to be defined in the proposal.
How we work on the project
We begin with the context and the objective. From there, we define what the project needs to include, which materials are required and what needs to be decided before production.
Structure defines the journey. Design develops the expression of the brand, and development determines how it behaves in the browser. Decisions are reviewed at each stage before moving on.
Before launch, the agreed pages and functions are reviewed. The proposal defines content management, hosting, licences and maintenance so that responsibility for each part is clear.
Does a new website guarantee more bookings or enquiries?
No. A website can make the journey easier and remove friction, but the outcome also depends on the offer, demand, visibility and how the business operates. Evaluating changes requires data and enough time.
Web projects by crida studio
Can Junqué shows how identity, photography and direct booking come together in rural hospitality. Breath Coaching addresses an international experience with B2B and individual audiences. For the ERAM campaign, the challenge was to develop a creative direction defined by Aire i Forma while retaining its character on the web.
These are different contexts. The cases help explain decisions and responsibilities, rather than applying the same solution to every business.
Can Junqué
Identity, photography, UX/UI, web development and integrations to build an independent booking channel.
Breath Coaching
Strategy, content architecture and UX/UI for a digital experience serving both B2B and individual audiences.
ERAM Campaign
Development of an interactive website that adapts to different screens. Aire i Forma defined the creative direction and crida studio implemented the website.
What we need to prepare a proposal
You do not need to arrive with every screen already decided. It is more useful to explain what you want to achieve, what is limiting you now and which materials or systems you have.
- A description of the business and the people it serves.
- The current website, if there is one, with examples of what works and what gets in the way.
- The functions you need, such as languages, bookings, a catalogue, enquiries or integrations.
What determines the cost of a web project?
The number and type of pages, languages, content preparation, functions and integrations determine the scope. We review those needs before preparing the proposal.
