Who we help in biotech, bioprocess and pharma

This service is for companies that sell technology or services to biotech and pharma. Each one has a different buyer and a different sales cycle, so the marketing has to fit the people who make the buying decision in each case.

In the end, they all sell to pharma and biotech companies that buy by committee, where engineering, production, quality and procurement look for different things on the website, from technical data to GMP documentation or after-sales service.

  • Bioprocess and lab equipment manufacturers, such as bioreactors, TFF systems or single-use consumables.
  • Distributors that sell equipment from several brands in their country.
  • CDMOs and CROs that need to show capacity and experience without breaking confidentiality.
  • Biotech startups and spin-offs that need a credible brand for investors and partners.

Positioning and websites to compete with the big corporations

A mid-sized equipment maker competes with corporations that have huge catalogues and sales teams in every country. So it needs to make clear where it is different, for example in direct access to engineering, in custom equipment or in how it supports scale-up from lab to pilot plant and production.

The website has to prove it, product line by product line. Each product needs its own page, with volumes, materials, single-use or stainless steel options, how FAT and SAT are run, which qualification documents are delivered and a clear button to request a quote.

Can you write about GMP and 21 CFR Part 11 on the website without overpromising?

Yes, with care. Section 11.10 of 21 CFR Part 11 requires anyone using closed systems to create, modify or maintain electronic records to apply controls such as system validation and audit trails. Equipment can help a customer comply, and the same goes for GMP, but compliance depends on the customer’s process. That is why someone from your engineering or quality team reviews these texts.

SEO, Google Ads and AI answers for technical buyers

Many buyers in this sector search in English and with precise terms, such as single-use bioreactor, TFF system or GMP. SEO starts with those searches and with pages that answer what a process or quality engineer wants to know. Those are the pages that AI answers can later cite.

Google Ads needs care on two fronts. Its healthcare and medicines policy restricts prescription drug terms and does not allow the promotion of cell or gene therapies, with one exception in the United States for FDA-approved therapies. Students and job seekers also use the same words as buyers, so they have to be filtered out.

Here is an example of work David Monje led at TECNIC. On 1 November 2026, in Google Spain, the AI answer for “bioreactor” cited TECNIC as a source. Its page on what a TFF system is ranked first organically for “filtración tangencial” and one of its videos came second for “TFF system”. That does not mean it will happen again for another company.

How do you tell a success story when the pharma client won’t let you use its name?

The case can be told without the name, with the type of company, the scale, the problem and what was done, always with the client’s permission and review. Public material also helps, such as application notes or trade show talks, along with a technician’s testimonial if the company approves it.

3D renders, animation, video and trade shows to show the equipment

A production bioreactor or a filtration line cannot travel to every trade show or sales visit. 3D renders and process animations can show the equipment from the inside and the scale-up from lab to production. The same material works on the website, in presentations, on LinkedIn and at the booth.

At international trade shows and at your own events, buyers see the equipment and talk to the people who designed it. We prepare the message, the booth, the video, the demos and the follow-up of contacts. The video is TECNIC’s summary of #MEVO 2024, where David Monje organised the company’s presence.

New markets, distributors and AI-assisted sales

Before entering a country, it pays to know who buys there, which competitors are active and whether to sell direct or through a distributor. We run that analysis with your sales team, then prepare the website in the local language, the campaigns and a distributor kit with datasheets, presentations, images and videos.

AI and automation help with long sales cycles. An assistant can answer questions from your technical documentation, your CRM can flag when a trade show contact comes back to the website, and sales visits can be better prepared. A person always checks the output.

Can the project be run in English?

Yes. Meetings, proposals, website copy and campaigns can all be in English, Spanish or Catalan. In this sector English is usually the main language of the website. For markets such as Germany, each language needs its own complete version, reviewed by someone who knows the product.

Why crida studio knows this sector

David Monje, founder of crida studio, spent four and a half years at TECNIC, a company in Riudarenes, Girona, that makes bioreactors from 0.5 to 2,000 litres, TFF systems and single-use consumables. He started as marketing manager and later became director of strategic marketing. He built the marketing function from scratch and repositioned the brand to compete with the big corporations.

He also set up B2B sales funnels with SEO, SEM and automation, took technical content into 3D, animation and interactive tools, and acted as the bridge between engineering, product and sales to open markets such as Germany, Scandinavia and Asia. International trade shows were his testing ground.

Today, crida studio runs the SEM strategy for PharmaBios Innova, which designs custom bioreactors and fermenters. Everything this page describes about TECNIC is David’s work as its marketing director, not a crida studio project.

How do you measure marketing when a sale takes months to close?

We look at what happens before the order. How many quote and demo requests arrive, from which channel, which come from companies and which from universities, and how many become an opportunity in the CRM. We review this with the sales team to decide where to put the effort.

How a project with us starts

We start with a conversation about what you make or the service you offer, who you sell to and where you want to grow. It helps to have your current website, the countries where you sell and your planned trade shows at hand. If needed, we can sign a non-disclosure agreement before seeing drawings or client data. Then we propose scope, budget and timeline in writing.
